Halloween is nearly here and if you are like me you will practically have your own pumpkin patch! Here's a little idea of what to do with one of your pumpkins .....
Last year I had a lovely evening with friends learning how to make a flower arrangement in a pumpkin. The pumpkin I made last year was pretty big with lights inside too.

This year I decided to make another one for the table (and one for mum too) but on a slightly smaller scale. As I made them I took lots of pictures so you can have a go too!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
*Pumpkin
*Bunch of autumn flowers (with greenery)
*Flower Oasis/Foam
*Few Cocktail Sticks
*Scissors
*Carving Equipment (I used knife and spoon)
HOW TO

Carve the top out of your pumpkin, and scoop out all the insides.

Slice the top so it gets rid of the stringy pumpkin.

Soak the oasis in the water so it's soaking wet. This will be your flowers water source so it needs to have a good soak.

Slice your oasis and then pop it inside the pumpkin.

Trim all the flowers and greener and start with a small amount of greenery ... this next bit is really your own flare and preference so have fun with it!

Next start to add the flowers pushing the stems into the wet oasis.

With the lid of the pumpkin push some cocktail sticks in one side. And the pop it on the back of the pumpkin

And then display your lovely arrangement... or give as a little gift

Happy Autumn
