Upcycled chest of drawers with vinyl

This upcycle might still be one of my favourites. I did it a couple of years back and it still looks as good as it did then.

My mum gave me a set of painted white drawers. I love Art Deco and this make over has been inspired by that era

WHAT I USED -

Black paint from rustoleum

Gold paint from rustoleum

Handles from homesense

Vinyl from Jes Rose

First I painted the whole of the outside in Matt black all surface paint. I didn't prime it as it already had this white paint on it.

Next I removed the legs and painted them in gold paint.

Then using vinyl I attached it to each drawer. This was slightly tricky as I had to match the piece up on each drawer as it was wide enough. And then match it to the drawer below so the pattern matched over the entire piece

And then the new handles. I bought these from homesense

It's got a complete new lease of life for less than £50 and saved it from landfill.
